Mike & Lisa
Lisa and Michael met in a bike shop 40 years ago. They shared a passion for bike riding and quickly went on their first date: a bike ride! Mountain biking was a brand new sport in those days and they were turning heads as they rode hiking trails that nobody had ridden before. Pretty soon, they got married and began the process of opening a bicycle store together in the lovely community of Newbury Park. When there was a vacancy on Michael Drive, they knew they had found their place. They sold and fixed bicycles, led group rides, made friends, sponsored teams, and worked seven days a week. During that time, they had four children who grew up in the shop. Michael's Bicycles is family business who have never lost their passion for bike riding and bike riders: young and old, fast and slow, and everyone in between.
